The Ward

The ward at Kindwitwi is home to those ex-leprosy patients who cannot look after themselves. They have a room each with a bed. All their meals are provided. Their scar tissue is treated with Vaseline each day. The ward is situated in the heart of Kindwitwi Village, just behind the tree where Village meetings take place, so the patients feel they really belong there and are able to see all that goes on.
