Fundraising News- thank you BMA and IST Alumni association

We have received some fantastic news over the past few weeks.  We are pleased to be able to announce that the BMA Charitable Purposes Subcommittee has made a £3,600 donation to the Rufiji Leprosy Trust. This money will be used to contribute towards the costs of World Leprosy Day events for the next three years and also the outreach work of Mr Kipaloya, the shoemaker, and Mr Mnally, the District TB and Leprosy Co-ordinator.’ This will be a really big help in Kindwitwi!

Also we are very pleased to announce that during the recent trustee visit Richard and Rachael were involved in the 50th anniversary celebrations for the International School on Tangyanika. RLT have had a connection with IST since the very early days of IST, so we were honoured to be invited to the event and very exicted to hear that the IST alumni association have donated $2000 to RLT. Thank you very much! We look forward to working with the IST Alumni Association over the coming years on exciting plans.
